Small Class Edition

Combines nine of the modules into a smaller class edition format.

A bloody double homicide has occurred in a remote fishing cabin in the woods. While investigating the murders the mystery grows as the office of the decedents, an abandoned truck, and three victims, burned beyond recognition in what initially seemed an unrelated, fiery vehicle crash, soon appear connected to the cabin crime scene. In this comprehensive kit, designed as a complete curriculum for small forensic classes and homeschooled students, your students will learn how forensic scientists perform 9 different analytical techniques. After practicing these techniques, students will analyze evidence collected from the various crime scenes allowing them, through examination of the entirety of their experimental data, to solve The Mystery of Lyle and Louise.

The Mystery of Lyle and Louise: Small Class Edition includes all of the following forensic units:

  • An Inky Lead™ Questioned Documents
  • Bad Impression™ Bitemark
  • Nature's Witness™ Forensic Entomology
  • Patterns of Murder™ Blood Spatter
  • Prescription For Crime™ Drug Testing
  • Read the Found Prints™ Fingerprint
  • Stained With Suspicion™ Blood Detection
  • The Jagged Edge™ Glass Fragment Identification
  • The Shoe Must Fit™ Footprint

Supplies are included for 1 group of up to 6 students. As in all Lyle and Louise modules, this kit is geared to high school and undergraduate courses, and is matched to National Science Education Standards.
